This boat was sited at an abandonded yard in Miami. Appears to be a "one of a kind" Donzi knock off produced by Play-Doh Marine in the early 70's. It was apparently constructed without the use of a mold...

O.k., O.k. its just what happened one day when my 4 year old asked me to play with her and her new batch of Play-Doh!! I tried, but its still a little lop sided. I've often thought a scale model (one that actually looked good) would be cool. Wonder how tough it would be to get a plastic model company like Monogram or Revell to produce a Donzi Classic 16 or 18?? When Miami Vice was popular they produced a good scale model of Don Johnson's Wellcraft Scarab. Maybe a letter or two to some model companies. A classic Donzi model on the desk at work would be cool! Anybody have a cousin or something that works for Monogram???
