Thanks for the information on my quest for a ski/wakeboard boat. Looks like it's going to be a while before I take the plunge -- if at all -- on this.

I came across two boats that were "interesting" and wondered if anyone had any experience with either of them.

One was the Gekko Bazooka -- an inboard with a driver's console on one side and a couch that wraps all the way around the other side of the boat -- bow to rear. It also has a huge storage locker right behind the engine compartment. The swim deck runs from the back of this locker all the way to the transom.

The other is a SkiPro Extreme. This one is unique! It's an I/O Volvo DuoProp on a semi-V hull with a more-or-less flat rear section. I drove one of these and it was a gas. Using trim I could vary the wave profile from almost nothing to a killer wakeboard wake w/ a good kicker. There were some handling anomolies: the boat would porpoise badly if not controlled by the trim and at speed (over 55 MPH), the boat would yaw a bit. The hole-shot was great! And, depending on trim, is dead flat or wild (see the pic). (The boat would also go fast enough in reverse to pull a wakeboarder -- not that you'd want to????)

Anybody have any experience with either of these two unique towboats?
