Hey Guys!,Finally got a Donzi.Have only wanted one since I first saw one tied up at a dock in 1969.My brother and I bought a 1997 classic 16,to use on a lake in northern New Jersey.Boat was never titled ! The 16 was a dealer demo and he hardly used it.It is super clean.

n --Your going to love it. Its a love affair that doesn't end. Some day you might get rid of the boat but you will always remember it and say " whish we hadn't got rid of it. Rember it has a personality, treat it right and it will treat you to some of the best times you will ever have.

Isnt it amazing that the hot looking number you fell in love with back in 69 looks the same and as good today as she did 33 years ago,Believe me I know the feeling, the burning desire to own a Donzi,I took my first ride in a 67 16 when I was 12 yrs old and bought a 68 ski sporter 13 yrs later.

Much Congrats..... My story is much the same as most of us here. Love at first sight. I am coming up on my one year anniversary with a 23 year-old beauty I found in Lake Erie. Even now, "it" moves just looking at her in the yard.

Good luck with the new girlfriend.

Congrats Jim! I have the same history in my past when our hot looking bathing beauty neighbor would be picked up by some kids in a 1968 Yellow 18. It was love at first sight, Donzi and neighbor! It's taken me 32 years to get mine.(Donzi) You will truly enjoy that boat. I look at them as an art piece that you can look at and enjoy, and then take to the water and really enjoy! I'm anxiously awaiting the first run in my "new" 1972 Hornet. Iowa really sucks this time of year!
