Weight of 1987 Z-29

Any way to research the weight of my '87 Z-29 with 454's? Just got a new Hydro-hoist lift and installer thinks that it's not sitting high enough. Sounds like he suspects that the listed weight capacity for the lifts is a bit light (8800 lbs.).

According to my 1988 portfolio that sucker left the factory at approx, 6600lbs, add fuel ,gear,tools,and beer and you should have your total wieght! hope that helps.
