Yes,

It's a 1973 Mandarin Orange and White X-18. The hull is in great shape. Interior is two years old. The gauges are all Teleflex and shine. The original speedo is DEAD NUTS to my gps. Morse side mount with wood knob are in good shape. Even the Volvo Speedmaster hanging off the back with one of the most sinister props I've seen works like a charm(SO FAR). Hydraulic external steering and power trim.
That brings me to the engine. It needs alot of attention.

Brian will you ever bring that X-boat over to Great Scandaga Lake, we could meet at the Broadalbin ramp.
She looks great, what kind of power is she running?

Happy Birthday

Barry,
I had the X out this weekend on Lake George testing and floating, floating and testing. The motor is 350 Chevy that has way to much compression to do anyone any good./12.5to1. I will be ready to pull the engine this week. It needs a serious rebuild.
I don't get over to Sacandaga Lake to often. I spent quite a few summers there as a child. My family has a house on Lake George so that's where I do my boating now. Come up to Lake George and the first round is on me.

Ted

What's new? I haven't spoken to you since you were covertly taking pictures of April at the Dealer Meeting last summer. How is Wellcraft working out?
To answer your questine (NO) there are no rare finds up in these parts. I had to drive a long way to get this one. It took me three years but I found one.
It's very strange that it's the same year and same color as my sixteen. It reminds me of a mother and her baby.
Stop by the Hyatt in July.
