I have a 1968,18'2+3.I would like to give it a new paint job,red with a white strip,I beleive it has enamle on it now,no clear coat.Any suggestions on paint to use? Will the boat have to be stripped?

Get som literature from seterling paint products i used the paint in a brush on form it is fantastic!

Used Awlgrip on mine, it's six or seven years now. Still looks perfect. The incredible hardness of the paint can make it difficult to repair. It doesn't scratch easily but if you give it a good blow it will chip. Have only had to touch-up one, and it takes some patience to do. Glad I used it. Awlgrip will send you a nice package describing their products and some application procedures that are very helpful.
