Has any one ever thought what it would be like to have the classic series as center consoles with outboard power as fishing machines for either fresh or salt water, am sure Poodle would like a 22 with twin 250 hp yammies??

I would take an 18 with a 250 eek! eek! eek!

Any thoughts, Mike Miller, I know some dealers that would go for that :D :D

So that's what ur running as a center console? That's amazing! I mentioned this before to Rick levy, a Donzi ZF Flats Edtition, even made some drawings of a modified 18 classic with a step added in for extra stability and increased speed rigged with a 200 Merc to keep it slightly sane, as well as a modified 22 classic CC with the same set-up with a 250 Merc on a jackplate.

I have seen one of these for the last 5 or so years in a hoist near Metro beach on lake St. Clair

We have one of those F-18s at the marina here. It's another one of those funky creations from the OMC days. Maybe they could market it as a bay boat instead of a flats boat? There would definately need to be some beam added though.
