Here are some shots of my Memorial Day weekend at the sand bar on the Columbia River. Here in the North West it is a rare sight to see many Donzi boats running around but I happened to see four others this weekend, so hopefully they will check out the Donzi Net now, since I happened to mention it several times.

Here is a rare shot in the N.W. A 33, two 22 classics and the Hornet all happened to get parked together.

Here I’m getting smoked by a 22 Classic. He did however give me a ten minute head start like I asked.

I may not be fast, but I do like to have fun.

Not everybody comes to the sand bar by boat.

What Memorial Day weekend is complete without a flyby from some of Americas finest?
This pilot was incredible he was flying low and fast, I wish I had a video camera for this airshow.

Where I live, it was rare to see another BOAT on Sunday, much less a Donzi.

Diamond Peak in the back ground. (http://www.epud.net/~owen/henryboat1.jpg)

Henry had fun too. (http://www.epud.net/~owen/besthenryboat.jpg)

Ran her 32 miles straight at WOT racing a frieght train. The guys on the train gave me a a couple horn blasts as I was passing them. Turned around and ran her all the way back, matching the highway traffic. Best damn hour and a half I've had in a long time. God, I love the way that boat lifts up and floats over everything.

Wow MX - Great Pics....that is wild to find 3 other Donzi's out here....hopefully they'll come join the fun here.

I ran out on a very empty Lake Wash on Saturday - used the new GPS to do some really dissapointing top speed testing...

Yesterday Kathy and I headed out into the very windy sound from Everett and hit Langley on Whidbey Island....second lowest tide of the year - but we stayed way clear of anything of questionable depth. It was really rough, but we had a great cruise...damn I'm looking forward to the South Sound Run!!
