I have a 22' Classic with the 454 OMC King Cobra configuration. I'm experimenting with props right now and am trying to determine the maximum SAFE RPM for this big block Chevy 454 with the best high end speed at the same time. One guys tells me NEVER run passed 4400 RPM on a big block. Any advice you guys could share would be greatly appreciated!
