Looking to Buy a 2004 26Zx -- Printed the Options From Donzi's Website and at 5800 LBS
Does the 525 BIXZ 500 Really Put Out 500HP???
What Does BIXZ Mean?? And at 500HP How Fast Can You Move 5800 LBS??? Didn't See Colored Bezels on the Option List What's Up with That.

BIXZ means bravo 1 xz drive. I would guess a 525 would push a 26ZX about 72-74.

My 2001 26ZX with 385HP ran in the low 60's pretty consistantly. I would imangine you could see upper 70's with that setup. We gained approx. 7HP when we swapped out our 310HP 454. I would love to see a 26 with a 525 run. Would be an amazing ride. Hope you get your 26 ordered.

By the way, I finally sold my 22ZX. Now I am just waiting on my company to find out where I will be relocating to. If I end up going to Tulsa, OK then I probably won't get another Donzi for a few years. But there is a strong chance I may be able to move to Mobile, AL which means a 26ZX may be in my near future. I have my fingers crossed for Mobile!

Ricpaz, good luck on Mobile area. I grew up on the Gulf Coast and love that area. Towed the boat down there twice this summer. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!!!

5800 is dry, you will be 6800 to 7000 pounds all day long when loaded up. Tow vehicle? I learned allot all around when I got my 26ZX, call anytime.

I have seen two 500 26ZX's, solid 72 to 74, give or take, a 525 might be 2 miles an hour faster. IMHO the jury is still out on those new motors.
Be prepared to spend lots of extra dollars for the new 525, not worth it for a 26ZX boat.
