Has anyone ever heard of a Firefox model? If so, what is the difference between the Z model, and the Firefox model?

The only FireFox I know of is the Cigarette 24 footer from the mid- 1980s.

Didn't Clint Eastwood drive one in the movie of the same name?

I'm with Stromer on this one. Go to http://www.cigaretteracing.com then click new boats, then Firefox. It's still featured there.

This should be mandatory reading for Donzi lovers.
Go to www.donzimarine.com
Once you are in the site,
Click on Z homepage
Click on history.
Read all of the entire history sections. The new website took forever to build and it has some great info in it!
From what I can gather, an easy way to spot the firefox is look for this cool looking pattern in the back sunpad. If I am wrong shoot me. If I am right, shoot me some rep points. Like I give a chit about those.
Attatched is a screenshot from the website - firefox info. Spank my pee pee for any copyright issues I just busted. Like most everyone on here, it's for the education and humor.

DONZIGO....I beleive there were option distinctions between Z29 and the FIREFOX Z29.... I think your right about hatch cushion designs but I think the big one was that the FIREFOX model had power seats now on the seat situation what was the original setup in them????

That picture is the same as my 1986 Z29. Same seats and options.

I'm not sure what the answer is.

Nope they were all changed out and built by Mcleod. The side panels were built by Matt and Myself and Michael Mcleod completed the job. All of the seats are made with a starboard material.

See this post : http://www.donzi.net/forums/showthread.php?t=34962&highlight=Mcloed

I removed the rear seam, pulled off the grab rails and the rear vents were already installed. The rear seam always leaks water and if you drill holes in the swim steps im sure you can get water to drain out.

We Need a Z29/26/28/33 zx section

does anyone know if the marine 350 versions cylinder walls are same thickness as a street 350 I have to pull one for gimbal housing repair .... so might as well pull both and build some hp over the cold months! Im sure 30th overbore would be fine but just wondering of thickness

I would say a previous owner, and I'm not sure that they are worth the water that sometimes makes it up that high. Call me before you add them.
