Curious what peoples thoughts are on trim tabs. Most of what I see on the board is Bennett and K-Planes.

Doing some shopping for myself but needed to hear the concensus of the group before I made any purchase. --Brad

Brad,
We are going to try Lenco electrics, just ordered them. Always used Bennets but i want to get rid of the resovoir and hoses in the boat.
They are about the same price and look similar.RW

I have the K-Planes on my 26ZX. I really like them. I had Bennets on my last boat and the K-Planes are an awesome improvement. I will say that with the 26 I do not use them a whole lot. Even in the full up position they still have a very positive effect on the boat. Bob

Got a pair of 12 x 9 bennets that came off my 22 OEM. All pumps, wires, hardware. Good shape, worked fine. Give you a good deal if you need them.

CDMA - Email is on the way. A "deal" sure helps in the decision process. I am still curious what the draw backs to electric trim tabs over hydraulic. --Brad

Any of you guys thinking about Lenco electric trim tabs should talk to Jack Keefe. He installed them on his 16 and says that he loves them. Also says that installation was very easy.
