What is the easiest way to get the pins out of the Volvo 280 to pull the drive? It looks like they need to be driven "out", but there is no way to get something in back of the drive to drive them "out". Can they be drivin "In"?

Yes, the Volvo 280 is getting replaced with a Bravo.

If you Remove the set screws you can put a 1/4 20 screw in the end and pull them out but do that when everything else is disconnected
Steering helmet, u jount boot, shift cable.Take the weight off with a jack and pull pins.
