Donziflyer

What a great way to start the season! My wife (Tami) and I spent 5/20 - 5/30 Donziflyin' around Banks Lake. http://206.150.187.82/ubb/cool.gif If any of you ever find yourself in North central Washington and want to have a great time on a huge lake with 95% natural shoreline with tons of sandy beaches and great views I highly recommend Banks Lake just south of the Grand Coulee Dam. In fact this is the reservoir created to irrigate the otherwise useless desserts of Eastern Washington some years after the Great Dam was built. Although it was a great week, on Memorial Day we were about a mile from the boat launch when I saw steam bellowing from under the dash. Turned out that the steam was a result of both the outboard bolt bosses breaking away on the right side exhaust riser. It was pretty windy, nobody close by and an oar just wasn't going to get our 22' Classic anywhere so I had to idle it back to the launch. Those of you experienced in these kind of matters most likely now what happened to my exhaust tube and the cables attached to the transom behind them. http://206.150.187.82/ubb/frown.gif
I'm hoping that someone out there has a good used OMC exhaust riser for an 89 460 King Cobra (right side - part #913584). I would rather not buy a new one. I would feel compelled to buy all new exhaust due to a symmetrical disorder I suffer from if I have to buy a new one. You know, the one that doesn't allow one to replace just the one leaky valve cover gasket without changing the other that is doing just fine. A lead on a low cost source for exhaust tube and controller cables would be greatly appreciated also since I want to get back in the water so I can take some video of our Donzi on Lake Chelan to share with you all.
