Automatic Bilge Pump Question............

My automatic bilge pump switch is not working. I'm not sure what is wrong, but I want to fix it before I put the boat in for the season. I just aquired the boat, so I don't know if the wiring is correct.
Does anyone have a scematic for a system with the auto switch and the dash mounted manual switch?
Maybe this should be obvious, but I am a wiring novice.

Maybe we can help each other I recently bought a 86 minx.So about your request I am going to install new automatic float switch with new manual switch as well.Nasty weather and I make use of my time shopping for various parts I will need to re assemble the boat after the repairs.
I could fax or send you a copy of the schematic.
Now for my request! I have my minx split and doing
full restoration the floor deck in front of the rear bench appears to have swolen support plugs.
Is your floor completely flat?

Tell me exactly where you are talking about and I will check this coming weekend. I think the whole area is flat, but I will look to be sure. I keep the Minx on it's trailer at the summer home until the boathouse is completed.

I've had alot of problems with Rule float switches (they use aluminum wire for the leads)
Check the post by madpoodle from last month on how to wire the switch.
