I realize that you were not with Donzi in 1972, but do you have any idea as to how many Hornet 19's were built? Thanks for your help.

RH, there is a list in the registry on how many they made of almost all the models , at least as close as possible.

Thanks Griz, I am definitely a neophyte when it comes to Donzi's. I take delivery on the Hornet this Thursday. I am having it trucked from Arizona to Iowa by a family friend in the trucking business. I can hardly wait! In the meantime, I am trying to learn as much about them as I can. I first fell in love with the Donzi marque in 1970 when I saw my first 1968 yellow Classic 18 on our lake. Never have gotten them out of system! Luckily my wife is being pretty cool about the whole purchase. It's the old thing about sell one before you buy another. She wants to know how many "have to have" boats are on my list before she officially commits me!

"A boat for every occasion, An occasion for every boat"Thats my motto.

And to top it off my Donzi girl loves them all!

Nice fleet Donzified. It's true. There is a boat for every occasion.

My Dad's fleet:
22' '86 Century Coronado
21' '62 Century Coronado (awaiting restoration)
19' '49 Century Resorter (being restored)
16' '38 Chris Craft Racing Runabout replica
14' '56 Fleetwood Custom OB w/ '59 Merc mark 58A
AMF Force 5 sailboat (fast but very tempermental)
14' (?)Kevlar Kayak (cool hi-tech)

I like to hop out of the '86 Coronado and into the Fleetwood for a quick blast after supper. The contrast is startling. You feel like you're wearing it!

My fleet:
18' '92 Bezer Super Stock circle racer
17.5' '74 Wigmore Super Stock racing garvey

Unlike Dad, I actually sell some of my old boats. He just keeps rotating his in and out of the restoration shop!

Boats are like guns. You should keep buying them and never sell them.

It's a guy thing....

1969 Boston Whaler 13'25hp Johnson
1982 Boston Whaler 13' Super Sport 40HP Merc
1936 Chris Craft 16' Barrel Stern Racer
1960 Century Ski Dart 17' 109HP Gray Marine
1983 Century Coronado Cardel 22'
