Dear Digger,

I've heard about what is happining and im very sad. i hope you feel better soon. sincerely, Kyle

The whole lyon family is sad. Ashton

Digger, I read aloud that you were going in for surgery and my sons wanted to let you know that they are thinking of you and we all hope everything goes well for you. You made quite an impression on them in Kentucky. They were both sad when we could not seem to be at the same place at the same time so they could get a picture taken with you. Maybe after you are feeling better if you have a picture of yourself that you could send to them they would greatly appreciate it.

Good luck Digger, I've had my left shoulder cut twice for dis-locations, and 'scoped once to clean up the scar tissue, I was as good as new for almost 20 years after the second operation.
My only words of advise, rehab like a man possessed.
Take care

Good Luck and God Speed with recovery. And never, never mix the hospital chocolate pudding with the vanilla pudding. It kicks, just like epoxy and could cause a fire. :D

Digger,
Best wishes and a speedy recovery from the Boldt family. Also hoping you get a young, cute, blonde nurse to help aid you back to strength. No therapy like a cute girl and a Donzi to put a man back in shape! :D

It's 12:15... perhaps in salute to our fallen brother we should quietly excuse ourselves from our appointed duties and go lift an adult beverage in his honor? :D

Get well soon!

Just talked to my brother, (Digger), and he is doing well. The operation was a success with no complications. He will be picked up tomorrow morning by our parents who drove down from NH.

He asked that I pass along how surprised he was about the amount of replies to this thread. He will be back on this board and in his Donzi this weekend. :D

Dear Howie,

Thanks for the update! Don't let him get a swollen head to match the swollen shoulder... tell him it was a slow Donzi news day, thus he was our leading story. (Whew, I just have time to cancel the exotic dancer before Mom and Dad arrive!)

Bunches,

Celene 'the other' Howard

Glad to hear it Digger!
now don't rush your recovery start small, perhaps
1oz throw backs, then work up to 7oz curls, then once you've done a couple of reps of those, try 120z or 16oz clean and jerks :D wink

feel better soon, wait til the guys on the flight line get a hold of that pic. eek!

Digger, Sorry I've never met any of you, but I was just cruisin' here at lunch and read your message about 'under the knife" and felt like I should respond. I've been there, done that and going back again for knee operation #8. Stupid or what? Anyways, Good luck with your recovery and work like h_ll in rehab. I'll be back to read about your progress. Later, Rooster

Good luck Digger. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Just don't slip the first time you take a shower like my brother in law. If the nurses want to walk you to the bathroom the first time say "yes please" because you will be light headed after you stand up.
Wait till they say okay go to rehab and only go as hard as they let you at first. Go for the gusto after they say it is okay to do so.
Have the patience to do it right the first time.
Good luck. green16 John Teixeira
