Hello All!

Two days ago I purchased a 1973 Classic 18, big block, Berkeley jet drive (rare factory install). Today I registered on this forum. It's shaping up to be a great week.

I can't wait to dig around this forum! Pics coming soon. -Brose

Congratulations,Is it that x-18,454, black/white? I began to pursue that boat a while back before i purchased mine recently. The only thing that held me back were transportation cost"s back to MA..Beautiful boat, gotta love those rare jetboats.I beleive the value will always be there for you.Enjoy.

You guys got it right...

It's the black and white boat for sale briefly last fall that I purchased. I looked at it last year, timing wasn't right. He sold the boat back to the previous owner who put it up for sale this spring.

I regretted not buying the boat the first time around and wasn't going to let the opportunity pass me by a second time.

Thanks to all for making me feel welcome. Next up are some go fast(er) parts. Already runs about 60mph -- should be able to acheive 63-66 mph by the end of next week!

Hey, you learn something new every day!

Looks like I'm the proud owner of an X-18 not a Classic like I originally thought.
