rex marine has some good prices on closeout gauges. i just picked up a set of black pro comp autometer gauges to update the look some on the boat. my tach wasn't working so i needed one anyway. also just ordered a nordskog analog gps speedo to complete the package.

does anyone else use autometer in the boat? does anyone have a gaffrig or nordskog gps speedo?

on OSO there was a post that stated autometer made the gaffrig (livorsi) gauges and will start their own marine line soon.

Looks like a nice clean installation there. Especially with the old gauges still hanging there all hooked up. :D :D :D

ranman, i have the old ones hanging around for back up gauges. it's a redundant system. wink :D

i hear the speedo is tough to hook up to the gps. i might get to it tomorrow. i think i have all the autmeter gauges hooked up and just have one more switch to replace.

i finished installing everything this weekend. gps was easier than i heard. a couple of downsides. 1) the autometer gauges have red backlights and the gps has blue led's. damn. 2) i just saw rex marine's ad in the latest powerboat and they advertise autometer pro comp marine gauges with an autometer gps gauge. damn. i could have had everything match if i would have waited 3 days for the damn magazine to show up.

oh well.
