Just got an artist rendering of this,it is so gorgeous I bought it.It will be availale late July. I am too dumb to know how to post it but if someone wants to post it send me an email and maybe I can fiqure out how to forward it to you. It will have the old 1967 Donzi logos and 1967 Merc logo on the flame arrestor,no cleats,no ski tow,no coaming panels, everyting yellow including the engine compartmeny, gauge, steering wheel, seats. If I get it posted tell me what you think. 2004 wiil be promoted as Donzi's 40th anniversary, pretty cool idea I think.

Interesting math....

I have a 1988 Silver Anniversary Edition.

Sam Pilato has a 1996 30th anniversary Edition (http://www.donzi.net/hull.cfm?id=490) .

And 2004 is going to be the 40th?

Donzi seems to count their age about as accurately and consistently as my first ex wife!

Float, You bought the rendering or the boat? Or the boat to sell at your dealership?

That thing does look sweet......wonder if theres enough resolution to make it my wallpaper??

I bought the boat, plus a black/honey 16 and a brightblue/(not the current navy blue)with honey 18,all 40th Ann. editions for the dealership. I will probrably use the 22 as my demo but it is of course for sale. :)

I'll take mine in red please. Oh, and include all the options too.

...loving the classic look, but with modern amenities.

I have not seen a whole lot of yellow Classics... But this looks no different than any other classic that I have seen. Is that the point? Or am I missing something?

no cleats
no bow tow eye
no fuel fill
no anchor light

would look kewl, and refined, with a polished SS rubrail though

I was drooling yesterday over that black and honey 22 on your website. That's the prettiest 22 I've ever seen, IMHO.

What is funny is that back then the classic boats that were advertised and went to the showes were all yellow including the Corsican. yet red was the most sold one in the 1960's.

It"s great to see Donzi Corp. choose to go with nostalgia rather than the latest flashy paint job.
It preserves the heritage and sets them apart from the rest.Your choices for ordering also should be commended. This one should really stand out anywhere.Really nice !

What is the windshield detail? Looks like three pieces joined with some sort of brace at the corners. SS brace or ?? The side view makes it look as if there is a lower brace, or combing running along the bottom. Looks interesting.
