I have a 2000 28 ZX Scorpion. After having the power steering fluid replaced as part of a Donzi factory recall last year, the power steering failed on the first outing. (I was on the other side of the Chesapeake Bay in Crisfield MD, but that's another story) Now here is the situation: The boat was serviced by Offshore Performance (an authorized Donzi dealer) who said the power steering pump manufactured by Mercruiser failed due to a filter manufactured by Warlock Performance, installed by Donzi Marine who issued the recall notice because they might have put the wrong fluid in it. And, as you know Z-Care is a third party warranty that is subject to a $100 deductible, except since this is a high performance boat, its $500.
