Anyone have an opinion of what a 1989 25' Donzi El Pescador with a 5.7L I/O is worth. A Bud has asked me to get some ideas.

90% sure this is a salt buggy, sorry I did not mention that. It does a 10-20% difference in price.

Ok according to the model list it did change in 89? I would much prefer the older model, but the what they call the new El Pescador has merit for family weekending. Though a bit ugly compared to the older model or what we invision as a Real Donzi!

What is it? The El Pescador went out of production in the 70's. It could be a 25' boat misappropriately named El Pescador by the OMC crowd. Pictures? I too have seen the molds and been in Ol' Reds real El Pescador!

I am now wondering just how many of this late style model were made. From the general reactions not to many, it was dropped from the line up pretty quick. Would anyone put a value of say 12-15k if nice??

12K to 15K is way off base for that boat.
9K is more realistic. Seaswirl, made the exact same boat in '89. See if you can get a point of Origin for it. If its Culver City, OR, then It was made at the Seaswirl Plant. OMC used the same molds for many of their branded boats. And this is a hornet's nest of opinion that I don't want to disturb. wink

An El Pescador is a great boat. Its fast. It has room for a bunch of people. It handles rough water well. My wife fell in love with Bill's

Thanks guys, I did the broker thing but could not find much. To me it looks like a fairly good weekender that will do the Donzi thing like a DONZI!

Good info guys.....I got my boat in the spring of 2008 for $5,000 bucks it was in very poor shape but the motor and drive had very low hours less then 200Hrs. after 18 hrs of buffing, 2 weekends of cleaning and new top put on I had my self a good running weekend boat. If I had to sell it I would say $12,000 min
