Just out of curosity, has anyone had any experience or have any insight as to the differences between a mirage and a mirage+ propeller?
Thanks,

Fish, the mirage plus has more cup than the older mirage and the hubs are also different.I have a 19 pitch mirage for a very good price, that may go good on your boat or any one else in the Registry. Jeff

Jeff,
I actually had a mirage before I went to a turbo. I am extremely happy with the turbo, however, a friend asked me what the difference was between the mirages and I could not answer. Firgured I'd try the best boating resource I know and put up a post. Thanks for the answer.

I believe the Mirage Plus is supposed to provide more sternlift. My 242 has Mirage's, but I haven't changed them and have nothing to compare them against.

I just cam from the Merc store looking at props myself.
The ONLY difference I can see between the two is the + has a changeable/replaceable hub.
To the eye, other than the hub, they are identical. At least to me it is.

The Plus has cup added and doesn't blow out as much as an older non plus. A 23 non plus turns the same rpm's as a 21 plus.
