How do I get all the exhaust off the gold tips of my Blackhawk?

I found that "Flitz" works best for- fiberglass, stainless steel, and says it also safely works for any other type of metal. For me it has removed rust, exhaust, and etc. You might still be able to find it at Walmart, if not any local boat-store, and lastly you can order it.

*Also once it's applied, if you wipe off the exhaust/water after you pull out, it protects from exhaust/water drying on the tips! :p

FLITZ is good stuff, BUT abrasive and elbow intensive.

I used a good Mequires Polish compound on my last boats tips. Then wax, wipe, done.
Once clean, soap and water, towel dry.
Good Luck.
