Look at the dash. Another early 22 found w/o the coaming for the windshield molded in...

Anyone have any thoughts about this ot ideas how it would run?

Looks a little funny but I wonder how she goes...

Chris

Cooler...heck you could carry a keg in there

I bet it goes pretty well. I worry about rough water though. Bet the bow likes to fly and she has a tendency to propise.

I highly doubt the factory actually did that. The plate on the dash looks like something someone added. I could be wrong though.

Chris

Ok Dell you and me are going to have at it...trailer bunks day 2...

that's a lot of set back for a V8 outboard. holy moly. that can't be the right set back.

it does have me thinking of pulling the zz4 engine out of the 16 and putting a 300x on the back. hmmmm

I hope that every drop of that 75 gallons of fuel is up by the bow light. I didn't notice the windshield missing until CDMA pointed it out. Looks pretty good. CDMA, are you still going to the home town rally? If so I would like to meet you and ask you a few questions regarding my 22 classic. :)

Catch,

Unfortunately doesn't look like I will be attending the rally. I keep going back and forth but few unexpected expenses, the fact I can't rent a car, I would need to fly in Friday and fly out Sunday (school) and a bunch of other stuff insist on getting in the way of my boating. I am going to see what I can do though. If not ping my e mail and we will chat long line.

Chris

I think it might be parts selling time...

We have a 20 Bertram out here that is set up very much like that. It is a little squaty but goes like hell, I top out high 50's he blows by me. I guess high 60's might be breaking 70. I will try to catch him to see if he cheacked it on GPS.

Phil,

I know the boat. It is a beautifully restored 20 foot bertram sportsman with a 225 Merc on a bracket. The boat runs at least 60 and rides as nice as any boat I have ever seen.

The name of the boat is Bye Bye...

Chris the dark blue one? Silly as it sounds never noticed the name, I know one of the brothers I sold him a 36 Uni DC a few years back. The Bertram was in Stirling Harbor not sure if it is still there. I check tomorrow I have a survey at Stirling.
