To who ever gets it: for God's sake, don't change it! That's as original as I've ever seen. Even the gauges are right! It looks like the day it left the factory... :D

And since I have some knowledge of that batch of gelcoat, please don't re-gel or paint it.. that old yellow will buff out like you just can't believe. The shine won't last all summer, but it's a small area to buff.

Also, don't sweat the black seats (literally! :D ). Everyone told us we were nuts to buy a boat with black seats for Texas. Hasn't been a problem at all. We just carry some big yellow beach towels, and pitch them over the seats. (We would do that on ANY vinyl seats in a Texas summer!) :)

I just wish I could maintain another boat.. I'd buy it in a heartbeat! What a gem...

Jim, you should buy it so you don't have to stand on the beach while the missus is out running around in your 18. :D She sure looks like she has fun driving it.

Nope, that's green. It's the same color scheme as the 18 in the 1970 Powerboat Magazine article. Donzi called the stripe British Racing Green.

Cuda, my baby LOVES that old yellow boat! She has a ball in it!

Thanks Dredgeking! It certainly turns heads, and you can see the dang thing from a mile off. Helps when my honeys out cruising... I can keep an eye on her, make sure she's mis-behaving! :D :D
