Looks to me like Gaffrig finally has a side mount shifter/throttle.

Chris,
They have been making that and many other parts that they do not show on the Livorsi site for a while now. Go to the Livorsi site (http://www.livorsi.com/catalog_request.htm) and order a catalog for free so that you can see everything that they make. Once you do they send out updated flyers with the latest products that have just come out.

Stinks they don't show everything on the site.

Don't know if you guys know or not, but there are 2 differenf Gaffrigs. There's Gaffrig Performance Products and Gaffrig by Livorsi. Gaffrig by Livorsi is the real dael the other stuff is questionable. Somewhere on Livorsi's web site there's the whole story. Livorsi is suing Gaffrig Performance products.

Chris,
Thats the exact shifter that I was going to put into my Orange 68. Once I got it in my hands I found that it will NOT work on a Donzi. There is not euough room to clear between hull and cockpit. That shifter is HUGH in the back. Nothing like Morse. Also requires the cables to be run stright down from the shifter instead of stright back. And you need to make up a mounting area in the back so the shifter has something to hold to.

I have to tell you...This shifter was not thought out well at all. I doubt they sell many of them. I sent mine right back. Also the shift lock-out thats built into the handle is really rigged(Tiny spring thats about to get sprong). I would not trust it at all. Looks like it will break real quick.
