What should the dash on a '66 to '68 2+3 look like? I like GeneD's with the cut outs in the dash, but that does not seem stock. Also, what should the vents around the engine hatch look like.

Are there any pics in the Registered Boats that would help?

I am looking at an early DONZI and am trying to figure out how original it is.

Thanks, rj

My Donzi has the original dash layout, with replaced guages. Two vents in front of the engine hatch...one facing fore and the other aft.

Check out the section on Donzi.net that says "Archives". You will get a good idea from the pictures there.
Yeah, nothing on my boat is original except the seat pedastals.

I'd like to see what the dash panels look like. You can send any pictures to raymondcjohnston@usa.net, and they would be most appreciated. This may be something to put together for this board so that we can all learn the differences between the years and models.

Thanks, rj

Rayjay,
I admired Gene's layout so I incorporated it into my project. I now have a spare gauge panel from my '73 18' 2+3. If you need it, let me know.
