Has anyone out there done a Bravo Conversion from an Alpha Gen I?
You might want to ask this question at the mercruiser site, there are some fellows there who know thier outdrives. http://www.outdrives.com/wwwboard/
Al,
All you need is the transom housing and the drive. Granted these are expensive parts. All the internal plates, steering pumps and so forth will work.

I think you need a bunch more parts then that however I do know that you have to do no glass work for the swap. You just have to drill two holes and that is it.

audiofn reply sounds exactly like what it takes to swap a volvo 250 drive with a volvo 290 drive with trim.
is this true of the alpha and bravo too?? I thought you had to cut for the bravo to fit. i could be wrong though?
