Gentlemen, someone out there must know?
Simple question, does Donzi use solid glass or balsa/wood core construction on their ZX hulls?

"Dexter sealant chemically bonds the hull and deck joint. We lead the industry with our Hydropel custom blended vinylester Z-Tech resin and Z-Tech composite hull construction technologies. We exceed N.M.M.A., U.S. Coast Guard and European C.E. requirements"

I would "Ask the Factory" this one, and if that doesn't answer all, I imagine Frank C. would be the guy to really fill in the blanks.

LEN, great post and factual from the 2001 brochure.
Some of the ZX's have wood and the newer ones don't, and the larger ones are Vac bagged (33 up).

Donzi uses polyurethane foam in there stringer system and transom, and Divinycell coring in the hullsides. The totally WOOD-FREE boat's hull and Deck is bonded with glass and Plexus adhesive.

WINDMILL, your welcome, I am no expert on hull construction, the above thread started out on pricing and then lead into boat construction.
