Wells folks I'm finally making progress on my external steering. If the pix post works here is a shot of the real estate now on the back of Bad-Tat. Only 4 more holes to go! Randy was the supervisor on this one!

Bill, looking sooooo nice! I have the same tabs, so I'll be interested in checking her out up close. I like the shower water coming from inside rather than the usual tube pick-up off the drive.

Bill,
Looks great, hopefully mine will look similiar to that soon. Where is your shower water coming from? Do you have a seperate pump or is it coming from your coolong water?

Leave it to Toona to point out the tape!!!! The cooling water is coming off the raw water pump. http://innovativemarine.net/ No one else makes a cooler that will work on the Blackhawk drive.
As the plan stands now it will be at AOTH!! It's also getting SS manifolds and closed cooling.

The fine work on the steering components is a Bret Mays origional from Keith Eikert. Bret and Bill worked on this for a while to get it right and it is!! The steering actually strengthens the gimble housing. Toona, The tape is so you can see the marks and keeps the paint from bing scrached during set up. In my opinion this is the only setup that will fit the Blackhawk drive correcttly, ie. in the center of the pivot where it should be.
