$500.00 Stand Off on Buying a 2000 Z22 Bowrider.
5.7 -- 250 HP -- Asked the Broker -- At My Expense -- Could they Install "Quick & Quiet" or "Captains Call" Exhaust -- If the 500.00 Impass is Settled. Says-Not Enough Room- I know the room at the rear isn't as wide as a 22ZX - But Making More HP is a Big Thing to Me. Need a Defense to this Clown Who Doesn't Research-Just Wants to Sell Me "THE DONZI I WANT"
THANX!!!!!!! FJB20

Theres room for QQ, walk, get your deposit back if you gave him one, he will call you in a week...

Boats aren't cars, he doesn't sell one everyday.
Good luck and keep us posted.

On the other hand, $500 spreadover 15 years is pennies.

don't compromise!
the griz is right! 15 years is a long time to rehash the guy getting the best of you, qq is a detail, sweat the big ones like hp upgrade, walk your money can do better some where else. if you are not sure than you are sure!
if $500 is the deal breaker he should eat it if he's not hungry walk!

How much horsepower do you expect to gain? If horsepower is important 250 is not enough. Step back and reevalate your purchase. Divide the purchase price by 250HP to find out how much per horse your getting for your buck. Then do the same with other Donzi Models with different engine horsepowers to see if you get a faster boat with lower cost per horsepower. Interesting Concept isn't it? :D :D
