I've seen posted before the question...does the King Cobra and Bravo I outdrives have the same cut outs and most responses are..I think so.

Does anybody know for sure if my 1989 30' w/twins have the same holes for Cobra vs Bravo I?

Thanks.

HP 600, I'm also considering doing a similar conversion. How complicated is it? Does the X dimension remain the same, does the engine have to be removed to mount the inner trans assembly? One last question, how much do you think an early 90's King Cobra Drive/Transom assemlby would sell for-excellent condition.
I have a complete Bravo I, and will be doing the swap on a 24' raceboat. I feel there is a better prop selection and support (Merc) at the races. Thanks for your anticipated response!

There are two King Cobra drives and I think the transom assemblies are different. The 1989 King Cobra was the earlier (smaller transom assy) version. Are the cutouts the same for these two?
