What adhesive should I use to re-mount the 6 bolts to the back of a 16's dash panel?
I tried Loc-Tite, but when cured it was too soft. Couldn't tighten them down.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Find some "Ny-locks" and put a rubber fender washer in behind, then washer and a simpl tightening. It will look after all the "shock loading" and should never come loose unless you want it to....Seems to keep airplanes together.

Using the rubber fender washers to absorb shock is an idea that totally passed me by. Thanks!
I'll need to clean off the previous setting of Loc-Tite and then mount the bolts on again to cure. I'll also run by and pick up some ny-locks on the way home. The existing ones were worse for the wear. No wonder there was a ring of thick caulking around the panel.
Got to love thinking out loud...
Thanks again Lenny.
