Hi everyone. I called Donzi Marine to ask about the location of the dual battery set up on the new classic 18. These are great people. They faxed me the wiring details.
In speaking with Tony in customer service he told me that they take Diamond Alum and attach it to the stringer and then to the hull. They glass it in.
It also looks like they mount the battery next to the side of the engine.
I was thinking of putting one battery in the box under the seat (1966 classic 18) and the second as Donzi Marine shows next to the engine.
Questions.
1. Where do you other classic 18 owners with dual battery setup have them located?
2. Where can find the diamond Alum.
