Okay... got a ride in Geoo's "Mighty Mouse" and it lives up to the name. GPS speed was 98.4mph with 3 people and a full tank of gas. The video is me in the backseat, one hand with the camera and one trying to stay in the boat. One word... "UNREAL!! Absolutely UNREAL!!".

eek! eek! eek! 98.4mph (http://verd.com/photos/Cumberland_KY_02/vids/98_4mph.MPG) eek! eek! eek! (4.68MB)

Scott Bolts Fly-by (http://verd.com/photos/Cumberland_KY_02/vids/MOV00704.MPG) (1.08MB)

Excuse me, how fast? No typo? It's gonna be a few minutes to get this mpg to load... my head's hurtin' from the shaking it's getting waiting to see this for myself!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!...I love this GEOO 98.4 thing. I wish the wind wasn't in the mic tho. You can hear the 6+ G's!!! spinning behind the scenes eek! eek! eek! Thanks Brad and Geoo! This is great!

Where's Scot Van A and Formula Jr? Pics please...

What bugs me, right now,... is that I was there with you guys, Air Miles freebee, THE time of my life, BUT, as PAULO knows, something came up ... :(

Be careful, think smart, go fast!.

OH!! and again BROWNIE was right, there is no such thing as hull speed.

Envious Lenny...

That is awesome. I suggest that you do it again
but show the GPS reset to zero before the run
then show it at the end of the run. That might
be the proof needed to get that world record.
Be carefull too!! eek!

Wow!, I'm am still shaking, and I am just watching it on my stupid computer. what a rush. ok, my 18 does 62, Geoo's does 98, humm, how many years of development, trial and error and how much money do I need to spend to even come close??? Looks like a pretty harry ride at the end there. I think I am going to watch that again, and again, and again, wish I was there- next year!

Here is the GPS shot (http://verd.com/photos/Cumberland_KY_02/Day1_web/index0004.html) of Geoo's run. I can't do it justice in any description. The video doesn't do it justice either.

Lenny -- kinda hard to worry about the wind when all you are doing it trying to stay in the boat.

I think what Charlie is saying is to video the GPS
at Zero in the boat.....showing the "max speed "
window at zero....with the boat at idle, then
keep the camera on the GPS and video the "max speed" window climbing to the 98mph speed.
(Charlie, correct me if I'm wrong)
That would probably be the "proof" needed to
get the world record official. I think you would also need an ABPA official present and 2 runs of a measured mile within a 1 hour time period. It would be worth the trouble to own that record!! wink

Just watched the video of the 98+ run. People think Bad Tat is rough??? Smooth as a babies bottom compared to that run! Wish MM hadn't broken a rocker arm. We could have seen 100 if not for that.

Now I am scared... rougher than the Tat and a smidge under 100? Geesh...

Bunches,

Celene 'amazed the rocker arm is all that's broke'

Toona,
All that and no windshield!! They had switched the rocker covers when he put on the Supercharger and didn't have enough clearance. He was turning 6000+. You can handle it!!!
