I need help with this!

I have a chance to buy a labbed 22p Bravo 1 prop for my 22 classic. I am running a 25p Mirage now, 1.50 gear, 4650 rpm's at 68 mph. I think this prop is what I need for a little more spped and lift? Is this a good idea any input RIGHT NOW would be great. Thanks guys

I get 7 1/2% slip with what you have now, 1:5, 25 inch pitch,etc . eek!
That seems awefully GOOD. Assuming you pick up 600 RPM's and see about 5200 @10% slip (WOT)I get a number around 65...

That 68 on GPS?

This is my first time formal calcualtion so I might be waaaayyyy off here. Get more advice!

What Scott said - the Bravo is not a good deal for a Classic hull. Will chine walk like crazy. They work fine on Z boats. Stick with the Mirage for now.

I am no math wiz, but I get 69.7mph @ 4800/25p/8%/1.5 ratio. (current mirage setup)

I also tried the 22 assuming 600rpm gain/1.5ratio/8% slip and only got 69mph (Bravo Setup)

The RPM gain and the amount of slip are total WAG's but I do not have any better info from what I read above.

WIll the seller let you test it before you buy???
