just wanted to let you guys know that after getting the new 16 home, it's a better deal than i thought. the engine was properly winterized/stored. the interior is in better condition than i expected now that the cushions have been removed and i can see verything. the engine has aluminum heads and very well appears to be a GM crate engine, possibly the ZZ4 or it's predecessor with 345 hp. all the lights, switches and gauges appear to work. so far i can't find anything wrong with it. if i get back in town in time on sunday i'll try to run the engine.

after begin stung hard by my last boat, it's nice to see that there are some honest people to deal with.

i was going to register the boat today, but i forgot to get the HIN off the title. i will register with pics.

donzis are sweet little boats. i can't think of anything else like them.

i needed a great deal after my last boat. i spent 3 times more on fixing my fountain than i did to buy this. the simpler, the better.

Those ZZ4's dont need much work to be over 400hp. :)

Congrats on the new boat, sounds like you got a REALLY good deal.

worked until 1 am and prepped everything so i could try and run the boat before i leave town. it started right up and sounded almost perfect. idled perfectly right off the bat. there are a few minor water leaks and maybe a couple things here and there, but all in all i was very very pleased. the 350 sounds so mild compared to my old 502.

After stepping in a pile like that you'll be shaking your sneaker with a poop eating grin for a long time! Great to hear the excellent news! Even though I love my 16 I am jealous :D

I also love my 16, and am jealous at the same time like M.O.P. Sounds like a SWEEEEET boat. That 350 may seem mild right now, but wait 'til you punch it at the right time and get some air, or dance along at 50 in some slop, or just idle up a channel with everyone staring.

Welcome to the Donzi experience!

post 1st wash and pre wax. the orange came out nice with some wax. i think it needs a bit of buffing to make it better. http://www.donzi.net/photos/dk6.jpg

helm looks pretty good. needs some polishing and such. when i ran the boat i found that the tach does not work with the 350 they put in. oh well. gives me an excuse to get new gauges later.
