Tux, "OH MY GOSH" :D 4 rare Donzi models in just 2 months! This one is even my favorite color of blue and white. :) When does the Tuxedopk Donzi museum open for public viewing?

MOP- I haven't seen your email yet; I've been at my sister's all day watching the nephews- She and one of my nephews were attacked by a dog they just got from the pound a few days ago. She's got a broken bone and some deep bites, but overall ok. He's doing fine.

Actually, I was having second thoughts about the boat when I saw this set of pictures. It just didn't seem to look like the Doral interiors that I've seen in pictures, and was disappointed to find out that the outdrives weren't Speedmasters.

The boat is bottom painted, so I'm planning on leaving it in the river this year. And the owner is towing it to me. Don't ask my how, but I've managed to get lucky without having a hitch so far. Then again, my boats are all still on land and haven't been launched.

Bolts- Feel free to come down and time and view or take one out for a ride. I do like the museum idea, but the real reason behind collecting them is that I've been told how awesome it sounds when all the donzis start at the events and I don't have a tow vehicle :) I'm just going to install remote starters in the boats!

Rich,

------Im looking forward to seeing how low and what bias (front to rear) your new Doral has sitting still at the dock.Im almost posative its going to sit quite a bit lower than the boot stripe in the rear, and lower all the way around in general than my El Pescador(less weight). The reason I bring this up is because the "anti-fouling" paint is way below this point in the pics.As well, the outdrives appear to have no "anti-fouling" paint on them.I dont know about your area, but in Fla. and the salt water areas Im familiar with the barnacles dont distinguish between outdrive and hull.Im just wondering why the former owners,or whoever painted the bottom bothered to.It looks as though the boat is docked in fresh or brackish water wherever you are going to keep it,but you will still get a lot of growth on the exposed areas of bare glass and outdrive!............Bill S

Rich, I like your point! There is nothing like hearing a dock full of Donzis come to life in the early morning stillness. I have a brother near Philly, and plan to attend the MD Jackson's PR. Might just have to stop in and say hello while I'm over.
