On a Volvo: Volvo Ultra...if you can find one.

Mercuiser: Hydromotive Q4 4 blade. Or Mirage +. For now...

Chris

"Yes Mr. Hydromotive my boat runs stable with a Q4...you don't believe me??? I will buy the plane ticket out for you to see. If I am right you repay the ticket and give me a free Hydro of my choice"

He said no.

Swinging a Mirage Plus 23 cupped. In semi rough water This 18 will beat you silly. I don't like it. I believe the Mirage is lifting the bow too much in rough water to be of much comfort. Definitely looking for a change. Jim

Some years ago I had a 69 18 Donzi swinging a 16 x 26 pitch Michigan prop. In salt water that boat ran very comfortable like a Rolls Royce. The prop was a solid hub for a volvo. Still have it. Hate to part with it.What a ride. Jim

Now sit down chris, did you remember to take your reality medication this morning? WE all know that the Quad IV doesn't work worth a rats butt on our hulls... the Almighty Hydromotive Engineering gods have said it is so... Therefore it must be a law of physics! so just take that pill and put your 4 blades all up on ebay, CHEAP! it is the only way to fully come back to reality son! wink

There are a couple of new players in town. One is called a Turbo, On all Our test it has always shown better handling and top speeds on the Donzi hull. Also there may b4e a new Volvo supplier and I can tell you that Solas prop is every bit as good and better than the hill and Ultra, I have used all three on my boat including the Michican wheel,
