It's in Long Island, and a needs a resto, but could be a very cool boat. If anyone scoops it, i get a ride, right? And has anyone checked that Criterion II that was for sale on ebay about a week back? Very, very crusty, but a cool boat..........

The 28 says nothing on the side, but the Criterion says something like Howling Wolf enterprises. The boat is red. I can dig up the link if someone wants. The guys ISP is terrible tho. theres a bandwidth limit per hour on his site, and the pics are so big, its tough to see them all.

i spoke with the seller and he's not the owner but is selling it anyways. (legal?) its been sitting in his marina for years and he wants it gone(abandoned?) said the old owner was gonna restore it but the cost is too expensive and ended up parting it out.

its just a hull; everything has been stripped and sold. he wasn't sure of the hull's condition; its been sitting outside with no cover for years!!! he didn't have much knowledge about this boat and i could tell he was getting pissed at my asking questions so i politely kept it brief.

i'd love to buy it but not for that price. could you get a title? plus my wife would kill me if i picked up another major project! however, he's gonna lower the price if ebay doesn't sell it so i may have to ditch the wife if the price drops! lol

Unless he has a specific title in his name, lien in his name with him as the owner by result, or transfer by bequest.. he can't sell it legally. I think if someone showed up with a trailer and gave him $1000, he'd load it up and swear he didn't know what happened to it.

My twin Doral w/twin Chris' finally arrived last night.. only 6 weeks after I expected it. I'm hoping to get it in the water this week if we only have a break in the weather. I'll post some updated pics then as well.
