I have a Racor Fuel Filter / Water Separator - cartridge # S3221UL. I have no problems but I wonder - should it be drained occasionally? If so how? Should it be replaced on some frequency? How often?
Thanks
I drain mine every few runs and change the cartridge once a season. So far so good only a few drops of water one time.

Thanks
Depends on type, old one like mine there is a krurled aluminum one piece fitting with a hose barb at the bottom, newer ones have a relacable can with a drain off to one side on bottom. On mine I do not have to fully screw the fitting out just a few turns does it.
