Has anyone ever installed/owned a procharger supercharger unit. I got a great deal on a new unit, I have heard good and bad about the Procharger units. Any tip or advise app. Best speed to date is 74.2 on my GPS, same as last year, but using a 4blade prop now, and I am $4000 dollars poorer. Thanks Bill

I'm on my second season with a M3 Procharger on a small block Chevy. I like it. Frank ran a M1 on his ZX22. You should be able to pick up 10-15 mph. The trick is getting enough fuel to the engine. Do all the recommended fuel pump and filter upgrades and you should be fine.

Where did you fine a procharger for $4000? Last time I looked, the cost is closer to $6000, was i used and did you get all the hardware?
Finally, Prochargers are very popular with us vette owners too, low speed/rpm and the engine runs like stock, more fuel and it becomes a powerhouse, I personally think you will be very happy, please keep us posted!! greg

Bill, First things First, how many hours on your motor, also haven't you been running past your rev limiter with the new module? If you have more then 125 Hours DONT DO IT (tic tic boom) You will be starting a time bomb, Also make sure that the intercooler is in good shape, If it is used have it pressure tested. A new one will cost you $1200-1500 depending. ProCharger in saltwater use is known for there Intercoolers going bad. If you run the system buy a high pressure fuel pump. DO NOT USE THERE PIGGY BACK SYSTEM, Autoflo makes a nice fuel pump around $350. Set your pump at 35psi Idle. Do not use the 7psi pulley only use the 5psi pulley.
Best of Luck
