Help! I want to get my lifting rings rechromed before the season (Memorial Day). Does anyone have somewhere I should send them? And how do they come off??? Thanks, Kevan

Kevin, your lifting rings are usually held by
a nut and large washer and are removed with a standard box wrench.A copy of Vermonts famous Hemmings Motor News will have many rechroming shops you can send your lifting rings out to and get them back in time to go to Lake George.

I got this from Chris (CMDA). He says they are a first class chrome shop.

Thank you both for the ideas. I used a local Harley shop which sent the parts to RI, and they did a great job, but it takes about six to eight weeks to get anything back from them. The last part I sent away was in late January, and I just got it back last week!
