Sounds like a good price, the cheapest 2 new 2001's I have seen were Dick Simon Marine and the Donzi dealer here in VA for 39K.

If you buy it, make sure the 5 year ZCare paperwork is filled out and get a copy of it, that way while your waiting on your warranty card you have coverage away from your dealer service if needed.
Good luck.

Hi Frank! I think the one at Smith Mountain Lake on Boat Trader is one of the sharpest graphics packages I have seen on a 22. I think they want 39,750...

Do you still have the ZX?

I going to keep her for another year. Motor is being torn down this year. Adding more hp, I was just down your way yesterday, Went to the Annapolis boat show. Talked with Jackson Marine. We are going to put something together for next year down your way.

I have a 1999 22ZX I would like to sell before I winterize it. (I also have a 22 classic and a baby on the way so I need to sell one.) Here's the posting I have on the "Donzi Boats for sale" page. The boat is really perfect and has the larger EFI engine package. The Boat is in Cos Cob, CT (Greenwich) at Blue Lightning Marine. If you are interested you can have a mechanic check it out. I also have the extended warranty. Feel free to call with any questions 203.253.9965

"1999 ZX 22 For sale. White and red graphics. Bought new in 2000 in Lake George, NY. Big Block EFI w/ Bravo drive. Silent Choice exhaust. 35 hours perfect in every way. Dry stored in doors. Would love to sell before I winterize it. I can e-mail pictures but it's just like the one listed on the Donzi Marine web site and perfect! $27,000. Southern CT. "

Thanks

Frank, sounds great, I need to get hot and get my Christmas "Donzi stuff" order in at Jacksons. All my friends debriefed me on the boat show, I see the Black and Red 28 ZXO is still for sale that was at the other MD boat show a few months back.

TERRY, sounds like a nice rig and a good price. Good luck with the sale.

FBJ20: I saw you latest post and have to agree with RickS, for the 22ZX I think I would opt for the 6.2 Bravo on the 2001's.
An older stock 454 BB is not that much faster in a 22ZX hull over a small block, the 502 will get you a few more MPH. Regardless of pick the Bravo drive allows for future bolt ons. Keep us posted and welcome to the board.

I bought a 22zx over a year ago for under 35 with a trailer, had to drive to louisville to get it, the boat has the 7.2 mpi that makes a supposoed 320php. Buying in the fall gets a much better price but the wait for warmer weather is a killer, I bought in september and come november i was out on the lake in 30-40 degree weather. Gave me many chances to perfect my winterizing technique!

no i never charged it, im debating on wether to make it faster or just step up to the 28zx and go from there... after running at the donzi rally i think i may just need a bigger boat with a little more stable ride. its such a hard decision to make.
