I'm looking at a boat for sale being called a Donzi. I haven't seen it yet as it's quite a long drive. The fellow say's it has a mahogany strip deck, small windshield, is set up for a V drive, and standing beside it with a tape measures roughly (very) 17'6".

I can't find any reference on your site to wood decks. Poss. a do it yourself project?

If your curious, asking price is $700.00 with a trailer, but no power.

Thanks for any ideas or info

Sounds like it might be worth the drive.

I have an early 70's issue of Sportboat magazine with a 24' Cigarette on the cover. That boat had a wood deck so maybe they made a Donzi with a wood deck.

I'd go check it out and bring your camera...we're gonna need to see that one!

Where is the boat? Wat year iis it? What color is it?
I have only known of one boat
that had a wood deck added several years after it was made. This boat was in So.Florida. looked goodbut not for me. If it is the same boat... The exhuast flanges were turned out the sides of the boat.

Dont know about a wood deck but I think Donzi put a Teak floor in the 1978 2+3.

I'm betting it's a Century and not a Donzi.
If it is a Donzi, the wooden deck was added after the fact. Maybe someone had a hull with no deck??
I had a Century with a Fiberglass hull and mahogony deck. 440 with a V-Drive. The boat weighed a ton, the hull was over built for what it was, and I do beleive it was 17 ft.

It sounds like a Century, for sure.
