Just like the movie "Fargo", which is just ahead of "A Simple Plan" on my oddball list of favorites.

Danny,
The boat will be used on the Muskoka lakes and call home on Lake Joseph. There is probably 50 Donzi's on these lakes of which very few are on the web site or even know about it. Hopefully we will change that this summer. biggrin.gif

The Boat is a Fresh water one from up here and was used on a very small lake east of Toronto. The super charged boat from Michagan has disappered from Internet boat. So if you race a white and yellow one be careful biggrin.gif

Cummins,
You're going to love that boat!
Congratulations! Now plan on bringing
it down to Kentucky this spring
and showing it off to everybody!
The yellow procharged boat out
of Indiana is still out on Trader.
Been there forever. Think it would
really push 93? I'd like to see it!
If it were whippled, I would be making
low ball offers on it already.
Looking for the sun in Texas...

Cummins,
You just bought the boat I have been dreaming of! I bought a Minx (no regrets!) because I got a deal, but a 502 Bravo 22 Classic is, in my book, the shiznit!
Congrats!
And by the way, don't mess with it unless you have to. The most important thing I have learned from this board is not to mess with a good thing.

Hey Crazy what engine is in yours?? I guess white and yellow is relatively uncommon which is great in my mind. I originally wanted Navy but I think I like the yellow better now. It seems more of a summer colour. biggrin.gif

Congrats on the new boat!!! There's nothing more thrilling than taking the new Donzi out for the first time....and the second time....and the third.... biggrin.gif
As far as the color.....who would want a yellow boat? wink.gif

Thanx for all the well wishes and help with the ultimate decision to buy my boat. I look forward to using it and keeping very close tabs on this superb web site and all the great Donzi fan's. biggrin.gif
returning to your initial interest in hanging fenders.... I made two special ones for my 16... purchased a 3 ft piece of piling bumper, the type with two half-round tubes inside a canvas cover, designed to be nailed to a piling... took it to a canvas shop and had 6 grommets placed, one in each corner and one midway on each side... Then I bought a set of suction cups with bungee cords, sold to hold down boat covers, and threaded them through the grommets... the cups come in sets of 4 so it was perfect for 2 fenders... Now, using the suction cups I can place the fenders along the gunwale/rubrail which works perfectly when against a couple dock pilings...
All the materials are available at West and BoatUS
PS: If you are against a seawall rather than pilings, I found that PWC fenders work well... they are designed to fit over the gunwale and are held in place by a suction cup... they may be too small for a 22 but should work well on 16 or 18's
PPS: only problem with suction cups is they can slip, so a light backup line can help keep things in place.
