Volvo 280 transom shield switch

I am looking at a 280 transom shield with trim cylinders for sale. Will this replace the same hole as my Volvo 280 drive with electric tilt? It has the hydralic lines and cylinders but no trim pump and switches. I guess most important will my 280 outdrive match up with it? Would like to keep the boat as original as possible.

If it is a 280T it will fit.mif its a 290 It will take minor cutting

You may like Griz says have a little trimming but should not pose any other problems. Any ones trim pumps will work, problem is adapting metric fittings to SAE pumps. I've done it, quite a few auto parts can make up lines or you may find adaptors. So Merc or OMC pumps are out there!
