Isn't that the same magnum we saw last august while going into metro beach?

Yes Jamie, it is. It has that wild over-the-transom exhaust setup. There's no way you could find insurance for that setup not to mention that heading out on a rough day would be nerve racking.

16 G's and no engines...seems a bit high.

What happened to the
27 Magnum for sale in Mt Clemens last year for $20.000 firm? It was an estate sale and the Hull was purple. It was supposed to have twin Volvos (painted black). I think they replaced the interior, but it was rumored to still be a candy striper.
I found the link:Magnum (http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/3/6/43368536.htm)

Sagbay32, I looked at the 27'Purple 27'Magnum at Mt.Clemens Marine, And it is way overpriced for the condition that it is in. But they did have the 70'wooden Garwood that was powered by 5 12 cylinder engines and also saw 2 old Chris Craft XK22's and a bunch of other neat stuff.

Damn Voodoo,
I have to get over there to see that GarWood.

I figured that the Magnum was a case of "I think my stuff is worth more than it is". I did speak to the owner several times but the price is firm.

Mike....maybe planning a trip east to Macomb.

Voodoo,
What did you think that Magnum in Mt. Clemens needed? What about overall worth?

I have to buy a boat soon or I am gonna freak. Looking for Donzi, Magnum, Formula, and Cigs.

22' to 24' cuddy if possible...under 20,000.

Sagbay32, In my opinion it needs a total restoration, They are really FIRM on the price of $20K. I didn't want to disapoint them with an offer of $10K so I just passed on it, A good friend of mine grew up across the canal where this boat spent most of it's life and he told me before I went and looked at it "It was rough looking back in the 80's" he was right.

I saw that one in NY, a little more race than pleasure with the 3man bolsters in the front.

I am holding out for "Double Trouble" wink
