99'-28zx,140hrs-$60k'should i buy?

fond 1999,28zx twin 350mag.looks like his wife wants it gone bad.they had it for sale at $75k now offered at $65. dealer says she will take $60k.thinking of offering $55k.boat has only 140hrs.also some kind of engine warrenty left till 2003.not every option.not the pretty scorpion model but it is a 28.also what do you think about the 26 velocitys they are so light weight,3900#.they must really fly?plus they are so cheap new,57000 includes painted matching trl. 496/385hp. eek!

just moved here to westminster,md not too far from here to gettysburg,pa.had to go out west to get big house 2 acre's,of land.its really nice here i bet you miss it.boat buying is a real drag,the salesman all lie. :mad: thinking about buying corvette instead! :D but i was raised on the new river in ft. lauderdale,fla.boating has always been alot of fun :cool: iam going to buy a sonic,donzi,baja,velocity,formula,fountain,or maybe a checkmate. :confused:

FastTrucker, good talking to ya today, the 26ZX's in Erie were nice, one is an 2001 repo, the other a 2002.
28's are awesome too. That price is high in my opinion.

Velocity, Fast Lake boat Thats it! If you want rough water dont go near it in a 26 Velocity she has a padded bottom. Fast boat for her size.

Fasttrucker, if you can get a 140 hour 28 twin at that price, grab it. Even if you don't like it - a very unlikely scenerio, you can flip it and make 5K. But we ARE assuming the boat is flawless.

Sorry Owen. I rate the Formula under 29 as the family type offshore boat and I always forget to mention them, They are top notch great riding boats not the fastest. But the 27 formula is a great riding boat I don't think they make them anymore. The 29 with twins is a great boat the quality is second to none.
